It is a semi-natural freshwater lake enveloped by rani ban or queen's forest and stunning reflection of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges in the clear lake waters. It is also a perfect place to experience the ever so glorious Himalayan sunrises. It has some religious significance too as it is known for the sacred Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in the lake. The lake is famous for boating on the bank of the lake which provides the visitors with the tour of the lake. One can hire a boat and visit around the floating on the surface of the beautiful lake.

Shanti Stupa is a magnificent Buddhist pagoda-style monument which adds beauty to the Pokhara Valley. It is a perfect vacation place presenting a clear view of the Himalayan range, Fewa Lake and Pokhara city. The hilltop presents a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. Shanti Stupa also is known as Peace Pagoda is located on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski, Nepal. The pagoda is 115 feet tall and 344 feet in diameter It was built by Nipponzan-Myohoji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myohoji. Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, and Shanti Stupa means Peace Pagoda. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara is the first World Peace Pagoda in Nepal and seventy-first pagoda built by Nipponzan-Myohoji in the world.

International Mountain Museum
International Mountain Museum was established in 1995 by Nepal Mountaineering Association to maintain a record and document the history, evolution, development and legendary achievements in mountaineering. It has a stunning collection of artifacts, original gears, stories and photographs of the mountains, their inhabitants' and the explorers who climbed some of the highest peaks in the world. The museum contains three main exhibition halls: Hall of Great Himalayas, Hall of Fame and Hall of World Mountains.

Paragliding has been one of the most popular activities for the tourist in Pokhara. Pokhara is rated as one of the top 5 commercial tandem paragliding locations in the world. It gives a picturesque view of the surrounding that will spellbind a person. Paragliding flight launch from Sarankot about 30 minutes drive from Pokhara. There are three flight times a day, depending on season and weather at 10:30 am 12 pm and 2 pm. The best season for paragliding is from March to May and from Sept till December. There are many companies in Pokhara that offer paragliding in Pokhara. You can also go for a solo flight, you just have to ask for permission at the aviation office of Pokhara, they will allow you to make your own flight.
