Gorakhpur ARRIVAL | TRANSFER TO POKHARA VIA LUMBINI We will pick up you from your desired location in Gorakhpur for Pokhara via Lumbini. In between our journeys, we will go for a sightseeing tour in Lumbini. It is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. In 1997, UNESCO declared Lumbini a World Heritage site. According to the Buddhist scripture, it is believed that it is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. It is a place where Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddharta Gautama in around 563 BC. Places to visit Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, Myanmar Golden Temple, Lumbini Museum, and China Temple. After reaching Pokhara you can relax. TRANSFER TO POKHARA KATHMANDU| MANAKAMNA TEMPLE TOUR After an early breakfast, we drive to Kathmandu via Manokamna Temple. Check-in the hotel. Free time for relaxation. Manakamana Temple situated in the Gorkha district of Nepal is the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. The name Manakamana originates from two words, “mana” meaning heart, and “kamana” meaning wish. Venerated since the 17th century, it is believed that Goddess Manakamana grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her.
