Tapkeshwer Mahadav Temple:-
Tapkeshwar is a famous holy temple of Lord Shiva on the bank of seasonal Asan river near Dehradun. Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple is located at a distance of around 40 km from the city centre. Situated at the outskirts of the city, the popular cave temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated on the banks of a seasonal river.The name of this temple is derived from the word Tapak, which means to drip. It is believed that the water drips naturally on the Shivalinga enshrined in the cave from the ceiling and hence, the temple was named as Tapkeshwar temple.
Jawala Devi Temple:-
Hidden amidst the lush greens of the Benog Hill, Jwala Devi Temple, also known as Jwala Ji Temple sits on the top of the hill. It is often frequented by devotees of Goddess Durga, who believe in the power of the deity and firmly believe that their heartfelt wishes are fulfilled at this temple.Jwala Ji Temple is dedicated to Jwala Devi (Goddess), one of the forms of Maa Durga. The temple is about 9 km west of Mussoorie and is situated on the top of Benog Hill, at about 2,240 metres, surrounded with lush green forest cover. An old stone idol of Devi Jwala is housed in a small white temple structure. It is believed that the goddess blesses and grants the wishes of her devotees.

At a distance of 12 km from Library Bus Stand, Benog Wildlife Sanctuary has is a bird-watching haven and a part of famous Rajaji National Park. Set amidst thick forests, Benog Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the top tourist destinations in Mussoorie and among the must include in Mussoorie packages.The place is known for the rare species of birds that habitats in its area.
